Strategic Analyst at Mesa Natural Gas Solutions

Jesse Kirchmeier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1982, they began their career in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, serving as a Colonel until their retirement in 2018. Following this, they worked as a Strategic Planner for the Wyoming Army National Guard from September 2018 to August 2019. From September 2019 to June 2023, Jesse worked as a Special Projects Manager for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, where they managed various programs, including road use charge, autonomous vehicle, COVID preparation and response, and microgrid development. Currently, they are employed as a Strategic Analyst at Mesa Natural Gas Solutions, focusing on identifying and developing future business and technology opportunities aligned with the company's long-term strategy in the commercial industry and DoD installation energy resiliency sector. Additionally, Jesse is responsible for managing the planning and execution of the Wyoming Department of Transportation's National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) efforts, coordinating with other state agencies for zero-emission vehicle planning.

Jesse Kirchmeier's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Airway Science from the University of North Dakota. After completing this degree, Jesse attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Military Arts and Sciences degree in Strategy. Following this, Jesse attended the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) from 2007 to 2008, earning another Master of Military Arts and Sciences degree, this time in Theater Operations. Lastly, Jesse attended the National War College in 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy.
