Jason Vermillion has worked as a Senior Hardware Backend Developer at meshify since February 2020. In this role, they have been involved in LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, and LTE-M device and gateway data ingest and parsing. Jason is also responsible for device and gateway interaction APIs via RPC, as well as 3rd party device and gateway integration. Prior to this, Jason worked as the Head Chemist at Formulife, Inc. from October 2014 to December 2015. In this position, they were responsible for the development and implementation of finished goods and raw material testing programs for a mid-size dietary supplement contract manufacturer. Jason also performed various chemical and microbiological tests on production samples.
Jason Vermillion attended Texas Tech University from 2009 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Jason then returned to Texas Tech University in 2017 and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2019.
