Michael Dimuro Dpm

Michael DiMuro, DPM, PMP has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Director Project Management at Mesoblast since 2011. In this role, they are responsible for managing all aspects of therapeutic programs, integrating development activities across functional departments, and establishing a global project management office.

Prior to Mesoblast, Michael worked at Pfizer where they held multiple senior director roles. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Senior Director, Drug Safety Surveillance, leading strategy development and implementation for the department. Michael also managed the continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Director, Investigator-initiated Research, responsible for developing departmental strategies and operating plans. Additionally, they worked as the Director, Process and Information Management from 2004 to 2005, and as a Senior Project Manager, Phase III-IV Clinical Programs from 2001 to 2003.

Before joining Pfizer, Michael worked at Blitz Systems as a Business Analyst & Client Project Manager from 1995 to 2001. Michael started their career as the owner of St. Jude Podiatry, a private practitioner, from 1987 to 1994.

Michael DiMuro, DPM, PMP completed their education in a chronological order. Michael pursued their undergraduate studies from 1979 to 1982 at St. John's University, majoring in Biology. Michael then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained their Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree specializing in Podiatric Medicine.

In addition to their educational background, Michael DiMuro also holds several extra certifications. Michael acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2010. Michael is also a Diplomate, Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
