Fernando Peña Salazar

Fernando Peña Salazar has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry. Fernando began their career in 2004 as an Intern at CANTV, where they then became a Network Analyst. In 2006, they joined Movilnet as a Technological Evolution Consultant, and later a Senior Core Network Engineer. In 2014, they joined Messangi as Country Manager, Sales Manager, and Account Executive. As Sales Manager, their role was to promote Messangi's 6th-generation cloud-based mobile marketing platform. As Senior Core Network Engineer at Movilnet, they worked on projects such as the deployment of a GSM/WCDMA network, migration towards IP networks, and core network expansion.

Fernando Peña Salazar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar between 1997 and 2005. Fernando has also obtained numerous certifications since then, including Data Analysis with Python from Coursera in October 2020, DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization from Coursera in September 2020, Python for Data Science and AI from Coursera in September 2020, MATLAB Onramp from MathWorks in July 2020, Machine Learning from Coursera in June 2020, AI For Everyone from Coursera in March 2020, Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau from Coursera in June 2016, and HubSpot Sales Software Certified from HubSpot Academy in March 2020.
