Steven Whitney

Steven Whitney has a significant amount of work experience in the field of Christian education and ministry. Steven has held various roles in different organizations, starting with Messiah Lutheran Church in 2013. There, they served as the Director of Christian Education, where they developed and coordinated the congregation's ministry in areas such as youth, Christian education, confirmation instruction, community outreach, and music. Steven was also responsible for leading web and graphic design, sound systems, and technical support. Prior to that, Steven was an intern in the same church, where they worked as part of a team to oversee the educational program, recruit and train volunteers, and develop curriculum. Steven also has experience as a religion instructor and basketball coach at Christ Lutheran School. In addition, they completed a director of Christian education practicum at Calvary Lutheran Church, where they taught first-year confirmation and assisted with worship services. Lastly, Steven worked at Luther Park Bible Camp, where they served as an in-camp team leader and program assistant, overseeing staff training and program development.

Steven Whitney obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Theology, Music, and Director of Christian Education from Concordia University, Nebraska. This occurred between the years 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Luther College for General Studies.
