Wendell Bass has a diverse work experience in education. Wendell started their career in 1979 as a Principal in the San Diego Unified School District and held this position until their retirement in 2009. After retiring, Wendell joined Point Loma Nazarene University as an Adjunct Professor in 2009. In 2011, they became the Director of Christian Education at New Creation Church.
Wendell Bass earned a Master's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from The University of Kansas between 1970 and 1974.

Our worship, prayers, and Pastor's message are current and relevant. Music includes a variety of styles; from modern praise music to traditional hymns and spirituals. Communion is offered weekly and is open to all who are spiritually hungry, including children of all ages. We are an inclusive and reconciling community, offering God's hospitality to everyone.
