Hanna Laikola

Hanna Laikola is a prominent design professional with extensive experience in creating sustainable and impactful designs. As the Chief Design Officer and Founder of BoardWalk, Hanna leads initiatives in producing high-quality, environmentally responsible furniture from folded cardboard for various temporary setups. In the role of Creative Brand Manager for Messukeskus, Hanna develops the Habitare Pro platform to promote leading interior brands. Previous experiences include launching Design Helsinki, Finland’s international B2B design event, and working as a UK Agent & Consultant for Tapio Anttila Collection Oy. Hanna's background includes roles at Media 10 Ltd, where contributions to Design Helsinki enhanced international visibility for Finnish design. Educationally, Hanna holds a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design from Nottingham Trent University, complemented by foundational studies in Art & Design.
