Tim Johnson

Tim Johnson has been working in the field of medical research since 2012. Tim began as a Professor of Kidney Science at the University of Sheffield and then joined UCB in 2013 as Director of Fibrotic Remodelling, Director of Immunology Therapeutic area, and Director of Pharmacology, where they were responsible for establishing a company fibrosis platform both in vivo and in vitro, as well as developing screening platforms. In 2021, they joined Mestag Therapeutics as Vice President of Target Discovery.

Tim Johnson attended Silverdale Secondary School, Sheffield from 1980 to 1986, where they obtained O Levels and A Levels. Tim then attended Nottingham Trent University from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Applied Biology with a focus on Life Science.
