Klaus Reinisch

Klaus Reinisch has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Klaus most recently served as the Group Chief Sales Officer at MET Group, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Director Sales and Trading at D.TRADING from January 2019 to November 2020, where they led the expansion of the sales, marketing, and trading unit. Before that, Klaus was the Chief Executive Officer at GEP Investments from January 2017 to January 2019.

During their career, they also worked as the Managing Director of Global LNG Business Development at TrailStone Group from April 2017 to April 2018, where they focused on growing the company's LNG business globally. Klaus held the position of Chief Executive Officer at PETRONAS Energy Trading Ltd from December 2010 to January 2017.

Earlier in their career, Klaus worked at TAQA (Abu Dhabi National Energy Company) as the Group Vice President - Head of Portfolio Optimization & Midstream from 2007 to 2010, and at Gazprom Marketing & Trading as the Head of Business Development from 2002 to 2007. Klaus also had a role as a Business Development Manager at SAP Markets, an SAP Group Company from 2000 to 2002, and as a Demand Planner at BASF from 1996 to 1998.

Klaus Reinisch earned their MBA in International Business Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in the academic year of 1998-1999.
