Tim Rivas

Tim Rivas is an experienced software engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at Met One Instruments, Inc. since January 2021, Tim previously held the same title at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences from January 2014 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team of engineers and interfacing on new product development projects. Prior positions include Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineering Supervisor at Hach Company, and various roles at Pacific Scientific Instruments (Hach) where responsibilities involved project management and software engineering. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University, earned between 1987 and 1990, and has a foundational education from Rogue Community College from 1985 to 1987.
