Marcio Flôres

Marcio Flôres is an experienced professional with a diverse background in corporate venture capital, strategic development, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Venture & Open Innovation at Meta since October 2019, Marcio focuses on investments in startups, open innovation, and venture building. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Strategic Development at Nextcode, where Marcio contributed to the establishment of a digital solution for document validation and customer verification, and as Head of Customer Success at Zup Innovation, enhancing customer relations for significant clients. Marcio has a long tenure at Meta, spanning from 1994 to 2018, with responsibilities that included strategic consultancy for major organizations, project management, and software engineering. Complementing professional experiences, Marcio holds an MBA in Innovation from FIAP and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
