Adel El-Atawy

Adel El-Atawy, PhD, is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently employed at Meta since May 2022, Adel previously held engineering positions at Amazon and Google, where significant contributions included leadership roles in Google Logs Infrastructure and Postini GMS. As a cofounder of eSpace, active since 2000, Adel integrates entrepreneurial insights with technical expertise. Academic contributions as an associate lecturer at Alexandria University and lecturer at DePaul University demonstrate a commitment to education, covering topics such as network programming and security.
