Ashley Stelfox has extensive experience in legal and strategic roles focused on broadband Internet infrastructure and civil rights. Stelfox served as a Legal Fellow at the US Department of Homeland Security, Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and later as Legal Counsel for the Coalition for Local Internet Choice, advocating for community rights in broadband decision-making. Stelfox held the position of Associate Attorney at Baller Stokes & Lide, P.C., providing legal advice on public-private partnerships related to broadband projects. From 2017 to 2018, Stelfox was an Affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and transitioned to Facebook and then Meta, working in Facebook Connectivity and currently in Strategy + Operations at AI Infrastructure. Stelfox holds a degree in Political Science and Latin American and Iberian Studies from the University of Richmond.
