Avishai Lazar

Avishai Lazar is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Meta since June 2024. Prior to this role, Avishai held a similar position at Savvy from October 2021 to June 2024 and worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer from December 2014 to October 2021. Avishai's earlier career includes serving as an R&D Team Leader and Software Developer at Check Point Software Technologies between September 2012 and December 2014, and as a Software Engineer at Ness Technologies from March 2011 to September 2012. Avishai also gained experience as a Firmware Engineer at Intel Corporation from August 2009 to March 2011, notably leading the encrypted communication group within the networking team. Avishai holds both an M.Sc and a B.Sc in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, obtained in 2012 and 2010, respectively.
