Cajer Gong

Cajer Gong is an experienced optical hardware reliability engineer currently employed at Meta since December 2024. Prior to this role, Cajer Gong worked at Wing, an Alphabet Company, from November 2020 to December 2024 as a hardware and reliability/FA engineer, where significant contributions included aircraft life time estimations, developing system-level requirements, and establishing reliability testing facilities in APAC CMs. Previous experience also includes serving as a reliability engineer at Apple, focusing on product reliability and risk analysis, and as a materials engineer at Naval Air Systems Command, supporting various military aircraft. Cajer Gong's early career included positions as an intern at SpaceX, Carnegie Mellon University, Sandia National Laboratories, Texas Instruments, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where expertise in materials science and engineering was developed. Cajer Gong holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
