Danius Silkaitis

Danius Silkaitis is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in developing data-driven solutions across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Calm since August 2021, Danius previously held the same title at Facebook and worked as a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon, where achievements included the development of a high-capacity ETL pipeline for marketing data. Earlier roles involved utilizing data science methods to enhance product design and marketing strategies at Promo.ly and Galvanize Inc. Additionally, Danius has a solid engineering background with technical positions at LEVL, Stratos Product Development, and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, focusing on innovative solutions and optimization in product development. Danius earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
