Desmond Cheung

Desmond Cheung has a diverse background in technology and business, with experience spanning over two decades. Desmond began a career in software engineering with positions at SAMSUNG SDS and Model N, where notable achievements included leading project teams and executing a critical project rewrite ahead of schedule. Transitioning to executive roles, Desmond served as Executive Director at Mansion International Holdings Limited, successfully guiding the company to an IPO in 2018, and as CEO of Babies Trendyland Limited, where revenue surged significantly. Desmond’s technical expertise continued at WhatsApp and Meta, focusing on machine learning and software development. Desmond holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
