Duck-Young Kong is an accomplished industrial design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various reputable companies. Currently serving as the Industrial Design Lead at Meta since February 2021, Duck-Young focuses on shaping innovative design strategies. Prior roles include Industrial Design Leader for Intel Corporation, where Duck-Young drove the design strategy for gaming and server GPU products, and Senior Design Lead for the Client Computing Group, creating advanced design concepts for personal computing devices. Experience also encompasses a Senior Industrial Designer role at Steelcase, leading design and strategy for educational and office markets, and a tenure at IDEO, where user-centric design thinking was applied to various industries. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Furniture Design from Hongik University.
