Enoch Luk

Enoch Luk is a Computer Science student at Caltech, expected to graduate in 2025. Enoch has gained diverse experience in roles such as Software Engineering Intern at Meta, focusing on large language models and the fairseq2 library, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Instagram, where attention centered on predicting user connections. Prior experience includes a Quantitative Trading Intern position at Optiver, where Enoch quantified market uncertainty, and a Taylor W. Lawrence SURF fellowship at Caltech, involved in power grid analysis. Additionally, Enoch contributed as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Perona Lab, developing infrastructure for computer vision projects, and is currently engaged with the Climate Modeling Alliance, working on uncertainty quantification in chaotic systems and authoring a JAX-differentiable library for machine learning.
