Erick Arias

Erick Arias is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience across various roles in graphic and product design. Beginning as a freelance graphic designer, Erick developed print and online materials for local businesses while attending university. Subsequent roles included positions at WGN-TV as a graphic design intern, followed by positions as a web designer at Chicago Tech, a UX designer at Vivid Seats, and as a senior user interface engineer at the Chicago Sun-Times. In more senior roles, Erick served as design director at DevMynd and later as a senior product designer at Pivotal Labs, where coaching product teams on design methodologies was essential. At VMware, Erick led product design for the Spring Java framework, while currently at Meta, designing marketing tools to enhance customer engagement. Erick holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics and Animation from DePaul University and has completed courses in 3D Animation at Gnomon School of Visual Effects.
