Glenn Degnitz

Glenn Degnitz, PMP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data center management, environmental protection, and military operations. Currently serving as Team Manager at Meta since May 2022, Glenn oversees a team of Technical Program Managers focused on safeguarding user data. Previously, Glenn held the role of Regional Manager for AWS Northern VA Rack Decommissioning Team, managing a large team responsible for optimizing server rack performance. With a background as Lead Environmental Protection Specialist at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, Glenn demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and program development. Glenn's education includes a Master’s Certificate in Project Management and a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from American Military University, complemented by a strong foundation in environmental studies and general studies. Glenn's military tenure includes significant leadership roles within the US Army and US Marine Corps, focusing on environmental management and operational training.
