Guus de Ronde

Guus de Ronde is an experienced professional in engineering and development, with a strong background in technical training, process development, and application engineering. Beginning a career at Capgemini as a Technical Trainer for KPN from 1997 to 2001, Guus focused on developing training materials for telecom field technicians. Following that, a role at Philips Lighting involved diverse responsibilities, including the injection molding of ceramics and the development of various processing techniques. Guus further advanced skills at Luxexcel Group B.V. from 2015 to 2022 as a Mechatronics Engineer, concentrating on the design and optimization of 3D printing processes. Currently, Guus serves as an Application Engineer in Optical Additive Manufacturing at Meta, where the focus is on enhancing optical 3D printing for augmented and virtual reality applications. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Avans Hogeschool Tilburg and a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Sunderland.
