Hardik Shah

Hardik Shah is an Engineering Manager at Meta since July 2016, where expertise is applied to solving complex challenges in image understanding, vision-language modeling, and cross-modal retrieval for Facebook products, particularly in AR/VR. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at SET Media Inc., focusing on video content analysis and classification pipeline architecture, and as a Lead Engineer at Conversant, overseeing the design of machine learning algorithms and big data pipelines for digital video advertising. Earlier work included internships at Broadcom and HP Labs, concentrating on multimedia systems testing and head pose estimation, respectively. Hardik holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
