Ido Sobol

Ido Sobol has extensive experience in technological intelligence and computer vision, with a background that includes serving as Head of a Technological Intelligence Analyst Team and Technological Intelligence Researcher at Israeli Military Intelligence from August 2017 to June 2019. Ido has also contributed to the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology as a Summer Research Intern focusing on Deep Reinforcement Learning and Robotics under the guidance of Professor Aviv Tamar, and has worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Computer Vision and Advanced Topics in 3D Computer Vision. Additionally, experience includes a Software Engineer Internship at Microsoft from October 2021 to June 2023, where Ido was part of the Data team for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, developing data collection capabilities to combat cyber threats. Currently, Ido is a Computer Vision Research Intern at Meta, while pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering obtained in 2023.
