Jian Zhang

Jian Zhang currently serves as the Robotics tech lead director at Meta since August 2025. Prior to this role, Jian Zhang was the Head of Robotics Research at Apple from August 2015 to July 2025. Jian Zhang's academic experience includes a position as a Lecturer at Purdue University, where Jian Zhang also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering. Additionally, Jian Zhang gained practical experience as a Research Intern at MERL in the summer of 2014.
