Jihoon P.

Jihoon P. is a data scientist, engineer, and researcher currently working at Meta as a Research Data Scientist, where they provide data science solutions to optimize the reliability of AI models for Facebook and Instagram. Jihoon has extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and uncertainty quantification, having previously held roles at Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Stanford University, where they developed innovative data-driven workflows and algorithms. Jihoon earned a PhD at Stanford University, focusing on uncertainty quantification for geoscientific forecasts, and has contributed to enhancing computational efficiency in research and industry settings. They also served as a Sergeant in the US 8th Army Korean Augmentation to the United States Army from 2009 to 2011.
