Lei Zhang

Lei Zhang is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in machine learning and natural language processing. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Meta since August 2022, Lei previously held senior engineering roles at LinkedIn from September 2015 to July 2022, leading teams that developed the Job Knowledge Graph and Feature Marketplace, as well as contributing to LinkedIn’s in-house machine learning platform. Prior experience includes positions at Adobe, Sears Holdings Corporation, and various research roles, including developing sentiment analysis systems and search algorithms. Lei holds a Ph.D. in Opinion Mining/Sentiment Analysis, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Image and Video Processing and Computer Science, respectively, from Wuhan University.
