Leyi Wang

Leyi (Hayden) Wang is a skilled professional with diverse experience in research and software engineering. Leyi contributed to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University as a Research Assistant, where a Tree-based Statistical learning algorithm was proposed and implemented, achieving a notable improvement in AUC of ROC curve. Additionally, an interactive web page for the Cistrome Project was designed and developed. Following this, Leyi worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan focusing on machine learning research. Current involvement includes a position at Meta as a Software Engineer specializing in Facebook Recommendation ML. Previous experience includes an internship at Apple in Cloud Services and a role as a Machine Learning Research Engineer Intern at TuSimple, focusing on trajectory prediction models. Leyi holds a degree from the University of Michigan, obtained from 2019 to 2021.
