Navin Adhikari

Navin Adhikari is an experienced machine learning engineer with a strong background in developing GPU-accelerated machine learning libraries and applying advanced algorithms in various domains. At Qualcomm, from November 2021 to December 2023, Navin held multiple titles, including Senior Machine Learning Engineer, and led the development of OpenCLML and DirectML for PyTorch/ONNX on Qualcomm GPUs. Prior to that, Navin worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, where machine learning and evolutionary algorithms were utilized to enhance micro-management strategies in the game Starcraft II, alongside the creation of an open-source simulator for research. With earlier experience as an Avionics Engineer at Nepal Airlines Corporation, Navin is currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning System Engineer at Meta since February 2025. Navin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a GPA of 3.86.
