Niels Hilmar

Niels Hilmar is an experienced leader in product management and developer experience, currently serving as the Head of Product for 1P developer experience and platform at Reality Labs within Meta, focusing on VR/AR technologies. Niels has held significant roles at Amazon as Head of Product and Solutions for Enterprise Developers at Alexa and Senior Manager for 3P voice products in the Alexa US division. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Director of Developer Product & Experience at Odin and holding multiple director-level positions at Microsoft, overseeing Digital Evangelism and Visual Studio initiatives. Niels began their career as a Developer/SDE at the Central Bank of Denmark and is recognized as a Microsoft MVP for C#. Niels holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
