Oren Weizman

Oren Weizman is an experienced software engineering manager currently overseeing synthetic data initiatives at Meta within Reality Labs since February 2022. Previously, Oren held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Iron Ox, where leadership spanned multiple engineering disciplines to bring robotics and services into production. Oren co-founded MunkyFun, serving as CTO and scaling the engineering team significantly, while also developing successful products such as "My Horse," which garnered over 60 million users, and the award-winning game "Archetype" for the 3G iPhone. Earlier roles include Gameplay Engineer at Lucas Arts, contributing to the fastest-selling game in their history, and Software Engineer at Terminal Reality, where innovative rendering techniques were developed. Oren's career began in the Israeli Defense Forces as a Lieutenant, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Reichman University.
