Gameplay Software Engineer II

Paul Sullivan is an experienced game designer and developer with a strong background in mobile and educational gaming. From February 2016 to June 2021, Paul contributed as a Mobile Game Designer & Developer, overseeing game development from concept to launch, including level design and user interface elements. At Nutzo Games from April 2018 to August 2020, Paul designed and published indie mobile games, notable for creating the cult classic Toilet Ninjas. Paul further enhanced expertise at BrainPOP from March 2022 to September 2023, leading the design of educational games and rapidly prototyping in Unity. As Lead Game Designer at TANK AND BEAR from January 2024 to October 2025, Paul spearheaded the design of Umi Pop, a pet simulation game for Meta Horizon Worlds, utilizing typescript for gameplay systems. Currently serving as a Gameplay Software Engineer II at Meta since November 2025, Paul also worked as a Technical Game Designer at N3TWORK Studios between July 2021 and April 2022, contributing to the acclaimed mobile game Legendary: Game of Heroes. Paul holds a degree in Game Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
