Rex C.

Rex C. is an accomplished statistician and educator with extensive experience in research, teaching, and data science management. Rex served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, focusing on statistical consulting for childhood obesity prevention studies, and held roles as an Associate Instructor and Teaching Assistant for various mathematics and statistics courses. Rex's research background includes a National Science Foundation fellowship at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan and a Graduate Student Internship at Sandia National Laboratories, where advanced modeling techniques were employed. From August 2017 to June 2022, Rex was a Professor in Decision Sciences at San Francisco State University, conducting research in statistical and machine learning methodologies. Currently, Rex works as a Data Science Manager at Meta, leading efforts to enhance recommendation systems. Rex holds a PhD in Statistics from UC Davis.
