Sanja Kelly

Sanja Kelly is an experienced policy manager and advisor with a focus on internet freedom, AI governance, and women's rights. At Meta from August 2020 to May 2023, Sanja served as a Senior Product Policy Manager for Generative AI, leading the development of governance policies for Meta's AI products and previously managing policy development for content distribution algorithms. Prior experience includes advisory roles at the Freedom Online Coalition and a directorship at Freedom House, where Sanja directed the Freedom on the Net project and contributed to research on democratic governance and women's rights in the MENA region. Education includes a Master's degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Columbia University and a B.S. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Utah.
