Satya Viswanathan

Satya Viswanathan is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development, particularly in machine learning and AI/ML applications. Beginning as an intern at Sylantro Systems and Air2Web, Satya progressed to significant roles at Cisco and Arista Networks, and later served as a Member of Technical Staff and Engineering Manager at Apstra. Currently, Satya holds the position of Engineering Manager for Machine Learning at Meta, focusing on enhancing the Threads app's relevance. Most recently, at Ghost, Satya led the development of advanced Road Perception systems, enabling precision in camera-only driving. Satya holds an MSc from North Carolina State University and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
