Saurabh Adya

Saurabh Adya is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Principal Engineer in AI Research at Meta, where responsibilities include advancing Conversational AI, Speech2Speech models, Multi-modal AI, and On-device AI within the Wearables Gen AI team. Previously, Saurabh was a Principal ML Research Scientist/Manager at Apple, contributing to the Siri Understanding Team and the AI Research Team with a focus on deep learning for speech processing and autonomous technologies. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Principal Software Engineer R&D at Altera, managing VLSI placement teams at Magma Design Automation, and developing FPGA analytical placement technology at Synopsys. Saurabh holds both a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
