Shaotang Wang

Shaotang Wang is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product development and design, particularly in the fields of electronics and automotive technology. At Landis+Gyr from July 2017 to February 2022, Shaotang led the development of mechanical assemblies for electricity meters, overseeing various projects that included FEA analysis and prototype tests. Prior experience includes an internship as Product Development Lead at Faurecia, where coordination of prototype builds occurred, and a role as Product Engineer at C&M Conveyor, Inc., where innovative designs enhanced loading capabilities. Subsequent positions include Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, focusing on Powerwall3 and supercomputer hardware, and currently serving as Product Design Engineer at Meta, working on Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. Shaotang holds multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
