Somya Jampala

Somya Jampala is an experienced product design professional with a robust background in managing and designing products for major technology companies. Currently serving as a Product Design Manager at Meta since June 2017, Somya has contributed to WhatsApp Business, Meta FinTech, and Novi Financial, as well as the Facebook app. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Product Designer at if(we) and mentorship positions at XX+UX and CodePath. Somya also instructed courses at Carnegie Mellon University, imparting knowledge in Communication Design Fundamentals. Academic credentials include a Master of Design in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Design in Visual Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
