Teon Brooks

Teon Brooks, PhD, possesses extensive experience in data science, consulting, and academic research. Notable roles include serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Mozilla, focusing on revenue-related data science, and as a Data Scientist at Meta in the Brain & AI team. Teon has also held positions as a Head of Product at Statespace and an Adjunct Senior Professorial Lecturer at American University, where instruction centered on statistical programming in R. Earlier experience includes a consulting role at OpenBCI, as a Visiting Research Fellow at Télécom ParisTech, and as a Mozilla Fellow at Stanford University. Teon holds a B.S. in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and both a Master's Degree and Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from New York University. Currently, Teon provides consulting services specializing in data science education and application.
