Thai Javate, MBA, AIGP, CIPM, serves as a Privacy Program Manager for the Global & EU Data Protection Program at Meta since March 2022, where responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and legal entities to ensure compliance with GDPR and global regulations. Previously, Thai held various roles at Enbridge, including Risk Management Consultant and Senior Advisor for Ethics & Compliance, and worked for the Government of Alberta in multiple capacities such as Policy Advisor and Manager of Enterprise Risk Management. Additionally, Thai was a Privacy & Innovation Manager at TELUS and worked as an independent Management Consultant. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta, an MBA from the Alberta School of Business, and training in Project Management from NAIT.
