Tianyi Wang

Tianyi Wang is a Research Scientist at Meta since May 2022, focusing on the development of machine learning algorithms for adaptive user interfaces and conducting interaction design for novel wearable and mixed reality devices. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from September 2016 to May 2022, where Tianyi Wang conducted human-computer interaction research on machine learning-powered augmented reality interfaces and robotics, with publications in top-level HCI conferences like CHI and UIST. Tianyi Wang also interned at Google and Adobe, gaining experience in training machine learning models for wearable devices and conducting HCI research on online remote collaboration, respectively. Tianyi Wang holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Human Computer Interaction and Augmented Reality from Purdue University and completed undergraduate studies at Tsinghua University from 2012 to 2016.
