Trevor LaMountain

Trevor LaMountain is an experienced optical scientist with a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Bard College. Trevor served as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from September 2015 to June 2021, where expertise was demonstrated in developing innovative approaches for optical control of hybrid light-matter states and automating measurement systems. Prior research involvement includes work at the University of Michigan, Bard College, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Trevor contributed to projects on optoelectronics, the quantum Hall effect, and fluid dynamics modeling. Currently, Trevor holds a position as an Optical Scientist at Meta since November 2021.
