Vanessa Chew

Vanessa Chew has extensive experience in policy development and product management, notably serving as a Senior Manager at the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office from May 2018 to May 2021, where responsibilities included managing Singapore's national digital identity products and developing policies for the COVID-19 SafeEntry system. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked as a Policy Officer at the Ministry of Education, Singapore, focusing on foreign scholarship policies and optimizing scholarship programs. In recent years, Vanessa held multiple positions at Meta, including Product Policy Manager for Developer Platforms and Reality Labs, and currently serves as Developer Policy and Process Lead, focusing on trust and safety programs. Vanessa's earlier experience includes client account management at Laundry Service and project management at BDDP Unlimited. Vanessa holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Sciences Po.
