Xuhua Huang

Xuhua HUANG is an Applied Research Scientist at Meta since August 2022, specializing in R&D at Meta Reality Labs. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at Argo AI, focusing on LiDAR Panoptic Segmentation, and contributing to the EGO4D project at Carnegie Mellon University, which received a Best Paper Finalist award at CVPR 2022. Xuhua also completed a Software Engineer Internship at Meta, concentrating on 3D Face Recovery, and held Research Intern positions at SenseTime, where contributions included computational photography and reflection removal techniques accepted by CVPR 2020. Xuhua HUANG earned a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with First Class Honors and Dean's List recognition from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
