Yinglong Xia is an experienced applied research scientist and uber tech lead at Meta, contributing to the development of modern recommendation models and systems that drive performance across various products. With a robust editorial and leadership background, Yinglong serves as an associate editor for both IEEE Transactions on Big Data and IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, and previously held positions such as general co-chair for the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data, and Analytics, and program co-chair for IEEE Big Data 2016. Prior experience includes serving as chief architect for Futurewei Technologies, leading research at IBM on graph databases and machine reasoning, and participating in various roles for significant conferences and committees within the IEEE community. Academically, Yinglong holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, a Master's from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor's from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
