Zeyad Zaky

Zeyad Zaky is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer specializing in Eye Tracking at Meta, with expertise in physics-based pipelines and hyper-realistic digital human avatars. Prior experience includes leading algorithm development for the Apple Vision Pro Eye Tracking Team, where Zeyad innovated robust 2D feature assignment and significantly reduced model parameters to enhance efficiency. Zeyad also contributed to various research projects, including physical simulation software development at the University of California, Berkeley, and automation methodologies at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Zeyad earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
