Zhe Zhang

Zhe Zhang possesses extensive experience in software engineering, having served as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta from August 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included modeling development for Instagram Feed Retrieval and Early Stage Ranking to enhance user experience. As an Engineering Manager and Team Lead, Zhe led the creation of a Messaging recommendation platform and supported various modeling workstreams. Prior roles at Meta involved working on feed storage, indexing, and ranking services for machine learning applications. Zhe also gained valuable experience through internships at Facebook and Microsoft, focusing on software engineering and testing. Zhe holds a PhD Candidate status in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
