Carol Chirolas

Manager of Molecular Pathology and Clinical Research at Metabiomics

Carol Chirolas has a diverse work experience in the field of pathology. Carol started at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in 2005 as a Chief Resident, Pathology. Carol then moved on to Capital Digestive Care in 2013, where they worked as a QA Pathologist until 2015. In the same year, they joined the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Local Medical Examiner. Later in 2015, they transitioned to Metabiomics as the Manager of Molecular Pathology and Clinical Research.

Carol Chirolas began their education in 1991 at Wellesley College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in French. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1995, they enrolled at Brandeis University from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they engaged in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Carol's educational journey culminated at Howard University College of Medicine, where they studied from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in the field of Medicine.
