Karen Bohmert-Tatarev

Karen Bohmert-Tatarev has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and biotechnology. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Yield10 Bioscience since 2016, Karen has held multiple senior director roles within the company, including Senior Director for Rice and Technology Manager. Prior to Yield10 Bioscience, Karen worked at the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety as a Scientific Officer from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, Karen was the Principal Scientist at Essentient Inc. from 2011 to 2012 and spent a decade at Metabolix Inc. as Group Leader for Plastid Transformation Systems.
