MetaBronx
Building a community-driven innovation ecosystem. MetaBronx is the leading startup accelerator in NYC for: • under-represented founders -- women, people of color, LGBTQ+ • inventors of technology-based solutions to large-scale problems We place youth from our communities in this innovation environment, where they learn all the skills to succeed in the 21st century. In contrast with the predominant approach to economic development which favors the charity economy strategy in communities like The Bronx, MetaBronx achieves success by identifying local talent in untapped demographics and then placing that talent in an environment that fosters large scale profit-making enterprise.
